Sophia Hutchins Accident, Malibu ATV – Sophia Hutchins, longtime friend and manager of Caitlyn Jenner, has died after a tragic ATV accident near Jenner’s home in Malibu. She was 29.
According to law enforcement and family sources, the incident occurred Wednesday morning. Sophia was riding an ATV on the road near Caitlyn’s residence when she collided with the bumper of a moving car. The impact caused the vehicle to go over the shoulder and plummet roughly 350 feet into a ravine.
First responders arrived quickly but pronounced Sophia dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that the two people in the car were uninjured. No other passengers were on the ATV. It remains unclear whether Caitlyn was home at the time of the accident or witnessed the collision.
Sophia and Caitlyn first met in 2015, shortly after Jenner publicly announced her transition. Sophia appeared in several episodes of the E! docuseries I Am Cait, which documented Jenner’s journey and efforts to raise awareness about transgender issues.
Over the years, Sophia became more than a close friend—she also took on the role of Jenner’s manager, helping oversee her business interests and public engagements. In addition to her work with Caitlyn, Sophia was known for her entrepreneurial pursuits and her advocacy for transgender visibility and acceptance.
Representatives for Caitlyn Jenner have not released a public statement regarding Sophia’s death.
