According to the New York Police Department, a note dated the day of her death was discovered in the primary bedroom, along with journal entries described as suicidal in nature. Authorities said her husband, Stuart Claxton, found her on the bathroom floor with over-the-counter pills nearby and attempted to revive her before contacting emergency services. He reportedly told investigators she had no prior suicide attempts.
