BUCHAREST — A traffic accident involving two trucks and a car occurred Tuesday around 14:16 on Bulevardul Iuliu Maniu, near the entrance to the A1 highway, prompting a police response and traffic delays in the area.
According to Brigada Rutieră, the incident was reported via a 112 emergency call. Upon arrival, traffic police found that the collision had caused one of the trucks to remain stranded on the second lane, obstructing traffic flow.
Fortunately, no one was injured. The accident resulted in material damage only, with no medical intervention required. All drivers involved were tested with a breathalyzer, and results were negative for alcohol.
In line with procedures for minor collisions, the involved parties were directed to the Biroul Accidente Ușoare (Minor Accidents Office) to complete the necessary documentation.
As of now, traffic remains congested in the area. Traffic police are on site, managing the flow of vehicles and working to restore normal conditions.
Authorities urge drivers to avoid the area, follow officer instructions, and drive cautiously as cleanup and assessment efforts continue.
