Born on March 15, 1983, in Miami, Florida, Chasidy was the daughter of Ana and Miguel Rodriguez, Cuban immigrants who instilled in her a deep sense of cultural pride and the importance of family. She spent her formative years in Little Havana, a neighborhood whose vibrancy and close-knit community shaped the values she would carry throughout her life. Her upbringing was filled with music, storytelling, and a strong sense of purpose — influences that would fuel her passion for helping others.
A graduate of Miami Senior High School’s Class of 2001, Chasidy was known by classmates and teachers alike for her creative talent and warm demeanor.
