Born on February 1, 1988, in Atlanta, Katie was the daughter of Michael and Donna Bell. She graduated from Lowndes High School in 2006 and later married Mark Eller Jr., her high school sweetheart. Together, they built a life anchored in Christian values, raising four children—Ava Grayce, Liam Michael, Charlotte Louise, and Penelope Isabelle—in a home filled with love, service, and joy.
Katie was widely known throughout Berrien and Lanier Counties not only for her creative business, Katie’s Creations, but also for her passionate involvement in church and mission work. Her home-based business blossomed into a trusted name across South Georgia for custom floral designs, home décor, and event styling. Her work was less about aesthetics and more about intention—each bouquet or décor piece reflected Katie’s commitment to joyfully serving others.
She was an active member of Truthpoint Church in Lakeland, where she led and participated in numerous community outreach programs, Bible studies, and support ministries. Her faith wasn’t simply professed—it was practiced daily. She often said that her most sacred work happened not in the spotlight but in quiet acts of kindness and generosity.
Katie’s mission work in Honduras was one of the great passions of her life. She traveled to the remote village of Buenos Aires multiple times to serve local families through ministry and material support. Just days before her passing, she had returned from another trip, uplifted and recommitted to the call she believed God placed on her life. Friends recall her saying, “I’m exactly where I’m meant to be,” upon her return. Her impact in Honduras continues to be felt through the programs she supported and the lives she touched.
The news of her sudden passing sent shockwaves through the South Georgia region. Tributes have poured in from all corners of the community and beyond. Neighbors and church members describe her as “a light in every room” and “the person who always showed up when it mattered.” Former clients remember her for going above and beyond, not just delivering services, but making lasting human connections. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Truthpoint Church in Lakeland. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the same location. Music Funeral Services is managing the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Katie’s memory to the Truthpoint Missions Fund or to support ongoing work in Buenos Aires, Honduras, where Katie served so faithfully.
