GREENSBORO, N.C. — Janet Ward Black, a pioneering North Carolina attorney and former Miss North Carolina, has died at the age of 66, according to the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). Black, who passed away Sunday, was a beloved figure in both the legal community and public service.
