Greenvale, Nassau County – A tragic accident in Nassau County claimed the life of 69-year-old Claudia Moncada of Glen Cove Monday morning. Nassau County police reported that Moncada was struck by a red 2018 Dodge Challenger while crossing Glen Cove Road in Greenvale just after 6 a.m.
Emergency responders rushed Moncada to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, but the crash remains under investigation.
