Christian Walker Death, Obituary Keene, NH — A 17-year-old Massachusetts teen, identified as Christian Walker of Orange, was fatally shot early Wednesday morning in a parking lot near Winchester Street, according to a statement from the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
Walker was transported to Cheshire Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:49 a.m. An autopsy conducted later that afternoon by Associate Medical Examiner Dr. Abigail Alexander determined the cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. The manner of death has been officially ruled a homicide.
The incident occurred in a parking lot in Keene, but officials have stated there is no known threat to the public at this time. The Keene Police Department and the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are actively investigating the case.
No arrests have been announced, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Keene police.
