The country music world is mourning the loss of Kenny Dixon, the for multi-platinum artist Kane Brown, who tragically died early Saturday, October 12, following a one-car accident in Christiana, Tennessee. He was a beloved fixture of Brown’s band and an integral part of the artist’s rise to national fame.
According to Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) officials, the crash occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Interstate 24 East, approximately 40 miles southeast of Nashville. Dixon was reportedly driving a 2016 Kia Rio LX when the vehicle left the roadway near mile marker 88 and struck a tree after traveling about 100 yards off the right shoulder. Authorities cited speed as a contributing factor but confirmed that neither drugs nor alcohol were involved. Dixon was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
