Los Angeles, CA – Mike Halpin, a longtime and cherished member of the Los Angeles Angels organization, has passed away at the age of 54. Known for his unwavering dedication, sharp wit, and deep love for baseball, Halpin’s death has left a profound void in the Angels community and beyond.
Halpin spent over two decades with the Angels, most recently serving as the team’s senior director of communications. His career in baseball spanned more than 30 years, beginning in the minor leagues before he joined the Angels in the early 2000s. Born and raised in Southern California, Halpin’s connection to baseball was lifelong. After graduating from California State University, Fullerton, he worked in sports journalism before transitioning into team operations.
