CLOVIS, Calif. — Authorities have identified the woman killed in a tragic pedestrian collision Tuesday night as 55-year-old Tina Taylor, a longtime Clovis resident. According to the Clovis Police Department, officers were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m. after reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Clovis Avenue, just south of Griffith Way. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency responders’ efforts. Investigators say Taylor had been crossing the road eastbound when she was hit by a northbound vehicle.
