Lehi, Utah – Chandler “Chuck” David Hendry, 27, a rising Latter-day Saint influencer, podcaster, and advocate for faith and missionary work, died Friday, August 7, 2026, in a multi-vehicle crash in Lehi, Utah.
Hendry was driving westbound on Timpanogos Highway when, according to Lehi police, he ran a red light at the intersection with Morning Vista Road (also referred to as 1200 West) around 8:25 a.m. and struck two other vehicles. He was not wearing a seat belt. He was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead. Occupants of the other vehicles were not seriously injured. The crash remains under investigation.
Hendry was en route to the FAIR apologetics conference, an event focused on defending and explaining the principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He leaves behind his wife of nearly two years, Analynn (AnaLynn) Hudson Hendry, his parents Chad and Cheri Hendry, siblings, and a wide circle of family, friends, and online followers.
A Growing Voice for Faith and Encouragement
Known online as Chuck, Hendry built a significant following through his Restored Truth platform and related social media channels. He created content centered on scripture, Church history, interfaith dialogue, and encouraging young Latter-day Saints preparing for missions. His videos and podcast episodes reached tens of thousands of people across multiple platforms, with a combined audience approaching 100,000 subscribers. He frequently closed his messages with the invitation to “keep your knees on the ground and your eyes toward heaven.”
Friends and collaborators described him as a confident yet humble defender of his faith who welcomed difficult questions and sought to instill courage in others. One friend noted that in a time when Latter-day Saint beliefs are often criticized or misunderstood online, Hendry helped many stand firm in their convictions.
Before his death, he had organized an in-person mission-preparation event scheduled for the following day. With his wife’s support, friends proceeded with the gathering, which became a heartfelt tribute to his life and influence.
Devoted Husband and Family Man
Chandler and Analynn married in 2024. They made their home in Meridian, Idaho (near Boise). Analynn, a digital creator, dance instructor, and student, has publicly shared her grief and love for her husband. “He was the best person that I knew,” she said. “I felt God’s love for me through him every single day.”
His parents remembered a son who once hesitated to speak publicly as a child and young man, yet later found a powerful voice online and in person. He was also described as an active outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed golf and completed a 100-mile run in the West Desert shortly before his wedding.
Memorial and Support
A candlelight vigil was held in his honor. A GoFundMe campaign has been established to assist Analynn and the Hendry family with funeral expenses and immediate needs during this time of sudden loss. The family has expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support from those who were touched by Chandler’s messages of faith, hope, and encouragement.
