Lincoln Christopher McCord(May 18, 2006 – May 21, 2026) was a 20-year-old Texas A&M University freshman from Magnolia, Texas.

Lincoln Christopher McCord was born on May 18, 2006, in Greenville, Texas, to Keith and Stephanie McCord. He passed away on May 21, 2026, in Magnolia, Texas.

He graduated from Magnolia High School in 2025, where he participated in the band program playing various percussion instruments. He excelled academically, finishing in the top 10 percent of his class, and served as a mentor to junior high boys at his church.

At Texas A&M University, he completed his freshman year and was actively involved with a campus Overwatch Esports team.

  • Brothers Garrett (Serenity) Spurgeon and Levi Spurgeon
  • Grandparents Ray Ann McCord, Randy and Sharon Rainwater
  • Aunts, uncles, and cousins

Services

  • Visitation: Thursday, May 28, 2026, 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home Magnolia, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas 77354.
  • Celebration of Life: Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Stonebridge Church, 1 Stonebridge Church Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77382.
  • Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested new Lego sets (geared toward adolescents) be brought to the visitation or Celebration of Life; these were to be donated to Texas Children’s Hospital for patients.

He was later remembered in a Silver Taps tribute by The Battalion(Texas A&M’s student newspaper) as an Aggie who remained true to his character. His mother described him as someone who “loved his family, he loved God, he loved animals, and he loved video games.” Friends and family remembered him as reserved, intelligent, and thoughtful.
