The family has expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from colleagues, students, and neighbors who were touched by her life and work.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025. Full service details will be shared by the family in the coming days. Community members, former students, and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Seputis was known not only for her professional excellence but also for her warmth and humanity. She often stayed after school to help students who were struggling and made it a point to recognize each child’s unique strengths. Her classroom was a safe space for learning, growth, and belonging.
“She believed in her students more than they often believed in themselves,” one colleague shared. “That was her gift—seeing the best in people and helping them see it, too.”
Her passing leaves a deep void not just in the schools where she worked, but throughout the West Carrollton community. Kelly’s legacy lives on in the values she imparted, the lives she shaped, and the spirit of kindness she championed.
As the district continues to process this loss, Kelly Seputis will be remembered as more than an educator—she was a mentor, a role model, and a source of unwavering support to all who knew her.
