LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Steven Lynn Scott, 67, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, according to the obituary information provided by his family and funeral service provider.
Scott was a member of Bates Memorial Baptist Church and is remembered by his family and friends as they prepare to gather for a memorial service in Louisville.
Steven Lynn Scott’s Life and Family
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Christine and Joseph Scott, and his brother-in-law, Samuel W. Morgan.
He is survived by his siblings, Leah Renee Scott Morgan, Eric Anthony Scott (Arica), and Dana Marie Scott Walton (Dwon).
His surviving family also includes nephews Samuel A. Morgan and Christopher B. Mill, Sr., niece Christine P. Scott, and great-nephews Dalen J. Scott and Christopher B. Mills, Jr. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends.
The family has invited relatives, friends and members of the community to come together to remember Scott and honor his life.
