Rachel Noel Dumovich: Climate Pros, LLC Mourn HR Leader, Mentor, and Advocate

Rachel Noel Dumovich, 29, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, in McHenry County, Illinois. Her loss reverberates across family, friends, colleagues, and the causes she championed. Born in Highland Park, Illinois, Rachel was the cherished daughter of Art and Shelley Reimann and beloved sister to Jason Reimann.

A life of purpose: from early days to leadership

Raised in a close-knit family with deep roots in community, Rachel carried forward a legacy of kindness and commitment. She graduated from Crystal Lake South High School in 2014, where she juggled dual roles on the varsity cheer and track teams. Her athletic discipline and team spirit foreshadowed the dedication she would bring to her professional life.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2018, consistently making the Dean’s List.  While a student, Rachel volunteered as a Big Sister and mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, reflecting a lifelong dedication to uplifting others.

After graduation, Rachel embarked on a career in human resources. She joined Climate Pros, LLC, where over nearly four years she rose to become Human Resources Manager. Her colleagues speak of her as a galvanizing presence—compassionate, fair, and always ready to listen.

One former colleague, Eric Holl, shared:

“She was my recruiter and later HR generalist at Climate Pros Inc. … She was an amazingly sweet and kind person. I will forever feel indebted to her for her sound guidance and friendship.”

Her influence extended well beyond the workplace; she was known as a natural connector, advocate, and loyal friend. With her quick wit, unfiltered humor, and empathy, Rachel had a way of making everyone feel seen.

Passions, personality, and presence

Rachel’s interests were as vibrant as her personality. She loved to travel, explore new places, decorate, cook, and immerse herself in life at the lake.At home, she was never without her devoted dogs, Dash and Cedar, companions who held a special place in her heart.

Close relatives include granddaughter Mae Kottke, aunt Kristen Kottke, and cousins Jake, Emily, and Jena Kottke.  She was preceded in passing by her grandfather Lee Kottke and uncle Mike Kottke.

In her personal faith and reflections, Rachel was deeply moved by a sermon referencing the poem “The Dash” by Linda Ellis. Her family noted she embodied that message, striving always to live the dash—the span between one’s birth and one’s death—with love, courage, and passion.

Farewell gathering and memorials

A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 17, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Light of Christ Church, 1700 Longmeadow Parkway, Algonquin, Illinois. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. All who knew her, personally or through her work, are warmly invited.

In lieu of flowers, Rachel’s family suggests memorial contributions to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, or the Sharon Lions Club—organizations aligned with her spirit of service.

The family has offered deep gratitude to those who have stood by them, especially Kaylaa Conklin, Erin Yazel, and Kylee Fetzner, “for their help in coordinating the service and for their unwavering emotional support.”

A legacy that endures

Even in grief, the stories of Rachel’s warmth and impact abound. One note read:

“Rachel exuded kindness and love wherever she went. I will miss that beautiful smile.” — Judy Yazel

Another remembered the joy of seeing Rachel’s puppy Dash play with their own dog, calling Rachel’s presence “a light in ALL our lives.”

Though Rachel’s life was cut far too short, her legacy remains powerful. She challenged us to speak for the voiceless, to be generous with our time, and to bring our full selves to every room we enter. Her dash lives on in the relationships she fostered, the lives she influenced, and the hearts she lifted.

We invite you to share this story in memory of Rachel, to leave a condolence for her family, or to support one of her chosen causes. In honoring her life, we carry forward her mission of kindness, connection, and justice.
