Connor Hendershot, 2025 Parishville-Hopkinton Graduate Dies Unexpectedly

PARISHVILLE, NY —  Connor Hendershot, a recent graduate of Parishville-Hopkinton Junior-Senior High School. Connor died on July 13, 2025, a loss described by neighbors and friends as “beyond heartbreaking.” His family, friends, and the entire tight-knit community are grieving deeply.

A Life of Friendship and Community

Known for his warmth, quiet strength, and unwavering loyalty, Connor stood out from an early age. A familiar face around the Hayes family supper table, Connor was described as one of Kade Hayes’s best friends—a young man who offered laughter, heartfelt conversation, and support in equal measure. Paraphrasing from community member Cassie Hayes, “Connor was one of Kade’s best friends and a constant face at the Hayes’ supper table,” a testament to his role as friend and family alike.

Graduating from Parishville-Hopkinton Junior-Senior High School, Connor held a special place in local memory. School board member Cassie Hayes, one of his mentors, later recalled the honor of presenting him with his diploma—a moment Connor requested personally.
