TORONTO, ON — June 9, 2025 — Dominic DeCarolis, a well-respected Investment Advisor with TD Wealth Private Investment Advice, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2025, in Toronto. He was 33 years old.
Dominic’s passing has left a deep void in Toronto’s financial community and far beyond. Known for his integrity, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to his clients, Dominic served as a trusted advisor to many high-net-worth families and individuals across Southern Ontario.
Born and raised in Norfolk County, Dominic’s journey from rural farmland to Bay Street was a testament to his ambition and hard work. After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Western University, he secured his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and began his career with TD in 2015. Over the next decade, he rose through the ranks—earning a reputation not only for his financial expertise but for his genuine commitment to helping clients navigate their financial futures with clarity and care.
Colleagues recall his strong work ethic and uncommon accessibility—always just a call or text away. Whether providing customized estate and retirement planning or coordinating directly with TD specialists, Dominic approached each relationship with the values instilled in him from his family farm: patience, discipline, and long-term thinking.
He often referenced those early days in Norfolk County as formative, shaping both his personal values and professional philosophy. His humble beginnings informed his down-to-earth approach and inspired a client-first attitude that set him apart in a competitive industry.
Outside of work, Dominic was a passionate sports fan and a devoted member of his community. He remained connected to his university roots through the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and the Western Investment Club, and frequently gave back by mentoring young finance professionals starting their careers.
Dominic is survived by his parents, Antonio and Maria DeCarolis; his sisters, Bianca and Isabella; and his beloved fiancée, Emily Tran. His loss is felt deeply not only by his family, but also by countless clients and colleagues who came to rely on his insight, warmth, and guidance.
A celebration of Dominic’s life will be held in Toronto, with details to be shared in the coming days. In remembrance of his legacy, the family invites donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Dominic’s influence will be remembered through the lives he touched, the portfolios he built, and the relationships he nurtured with humility and heart.
