Funeral arrangements have been announced for Rondale Moore, the former Trinity High School standout and NFL receiver who died Feb. 21 in New Albany, Indiana. He was 25.
According to his obituary, services will be held at 11 a.m. March 6 at Northside Christian Church in New Albany, with visitation scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Moore, a New Albany native, built his early reputation at Trinity High School, where he earned first-team All-State honors in 2017. He went on to star at Purdue University, becoming a consensus first-team All-American and winning the Paul Hornung Award as a freshman in 2018.
Selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, Moore later had stints with the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings.
Tributes have poured in across the football community. Former Purdue coach Jeff Brohm described Moore as “the ultimate competitor” and “a complete joy to coach.”
His death has prompted widespread reflection on the impact he made at every level of the game.
